Cinder Lighting & Grip has proudly provided rental equipment to filmmakers across Atlanta and the Southeast United States since first opening its doors in 2012. From its humble beginnings in a two car garage, to today’s high-tech 20,000 square foot warehouse, Cinder has pushed the limits of what the industry was used to. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, and an emphasis on involving technology in its workflow, Cinder offers a 21st century rental experience that is easy, transparent, fair, and precise.
Owners Ben Lambeth & Gabe Pippas met while studying at Georgia Institute of Technology. Both had a passion for filmmaking and a knack for business. After several years working on set and dealing with many vendors, they saw an opportunity to improve the rental experience being offered to customers. Together, they founded Cinder with the goal to always support the industry’s newer members along with established production companies.
